How do I earn stamps?

For purchase in-store, you will receive one stamp for every $20 spent (before taxes). For example, on a purchase totalling $21.99 before taxes are applied, you will receive one stamp. On a purchase totalling $42.99 before taxes, you will receive two stamps.

How do I scan my receipt?

To get your stamps, you will need to scan your receipt.

Open the app and tap ‘Scan Receipt Now’. Use your mobile device’s camera to take a photo of your receipt. You will notice a green rectangle on the screen. Line up your receipt to fit inside the green rectangle before taking the photo. For best results, place your receipt on a solid, dark background before taking the photo.

Once you have taken your photo, you will see a preview image. If the image is clear and the text is legible, tap ‘Upload Now’ to upload your receipt. If the image is unclear and the text is illegible, re-take the photo.

Do not navigate away from the screen while your receipt is uploading.

Once your receipt has uploaded, your stamps will automatically be applied to your account.

Can I scan the receipts of my family if they do not have the app?

Yes, with their permission. If you scan a family member’s receipt at their request, note that they will not be able to scan the receipt on their own mobile device to earn stamps — each receipt can only be submitted once.

How long does it take for stamps to appear in my account?

Stamps will appear in your account immediately after uploading and processing your receipt.

I didn’t receive my stamps. What do I do?

If you uploaded your receipt but you were not rewarded your stamps, first check that the subtotal on your receipt is $20 or more before taxes.

Try scanning and uploading your receipt a second time. If the initial receipt upload was processed, you will receive an error message indicating that the receipt has already been scanned and cannot be scanned a second time. If the initial receipt upload was not processed, it should process now.

My receipt is crumpled or damaged and I can’t get a clear photo of it. Can I still earn my stamps?

In order for your receipt to upload, the barcode and the 10-digit transaction number at the bottom of your receipt must be clearly visible.

If the barcode and/or transaction number has been ripped off or otherwise removed from your receipt, it will not be possible for you to earn stamps on your purchase.

If your receipt is too crumpled or damaged for the upload to process, try flattening the receipt and re-taking the photo. You could also try pressing the receipt in a heavy book for a few hours and re-taking the photo.

If the your receipt photo still will not upload, contact our Customer Service team at club@sunriserecords.com. Include a photograph of your entire receipt on your email.

Something went wrong while my receipt was uploading/processing. What do I do?

If you encountered an error while your receipt was uploading or processing and you did not receive your stamps, please close the app and try again.

Is there any way to earn bonus stamps?

You can earn bonus stamps on special stamp days (for example, Double Stamp Days promotions).

There will occasionally be in-game apps available, through which you can earn bonus stamps (for example, digital scratch cards).

You can also earn bonus stamps with exclusive offers communicated through our Club newsletter.

When a new “bonus stamps” promotion is available, you will be notified through push notifications and through our Club newsletter (if you are subscribed).

What happens when I fill a stamp card?

Once you have collected 15 stamps, your stamp card will be full. When you fill a stamp card, you will immediately receive a coupon in the Rewards section of your app.

Can I fill multiple stamp cards before redeeming my coupons?

You can fill unlimited stamp cards before redeeming your coupons. Note that coupons cannot be combined or stacked in any way. Each coupon can only be used on a single transaction.

How do I redeem my coupons?

To redeem a coupon, scroll down on your dashboard and tap ‘Redeem’ to enter the ‘My Rewards’ section. You will see a list of available rewards.

Tap the reward that you would like to redeem.

As soon as you press ‘Redeem Now’, a countdown timer begins. The reward voucher screen is time stamped and will display for 3 minutes, after which your reward will be removed. Please wait until you are at the register before pressing ‘Redeem Now’.

Once you’re at the register, tap ‘Redeem Now’ to claim your reward. You have three minutes to show your mobile device to the cashier. The cashier will apply the discount to your transaction. Once the discount has been applied to your transaction, the cashier will instruct you to tap ‘Complete’.

Rewards may only been redeemed once. After a reward is redeemed, it will disappear from the ‘My Rewards’ section of your app.

I pressed ‘Redeem Now’ before I was at the register, and now my reward is gone. Help!

Can I exchange stamps for a store discount?

Individual stamps cannot be redeemed for a coupon or store discount. You will receive a discount of $5 when you fill a stamp card.

Can I use my rewards online?

We do not currently have an online store. Rewards can be redeemed in-store only.

Do coupons expire?

Your coupons will expire after one year or 365 days after you have received them.

If I return an item purchased, will my stamps be refunded?

Yes. Any stamps earned on a purchase that is returned will be removed from your account within 3–5 business days of your return.

I filled a stamp card, but I did not receive a coupon in my Rewards section. What do I do?

Every time you fill a stamp card, you should receive a $5 coupon immediately in your Rewards section. If your coupon does not show up, contact our Customer Service team by emailing club@sunriserecords.com.

I played an in-app game (ex. scratch card) and won, but I did not receive anything in my Rewards section. What do I do?

Every time you win an in-app game, you should receive a coupon immediately in your Rewards section. If your coupon does not show up, contact our Customer Service team by emailing club@sunriserecords.com.

It’s a “bonus day” and I didn’t receive my stamp bonus.

On “bonus days” like Double Stamps Day, you will receive your bonus stamps immediately after scanning your receipt. If your bonus stamps do not show up, contact our Customer Service team by emailing club@sunriserecords.com.

Can I transfer my stamps to someone else?

No. Stamps are non-transferrable.

How will I know if I won the monthly $100 gift card draw?

Monthly gift card draw members are contacted directly through the email provided when joining Club Sunrise.

I can’t log in. What do I do?

Check that your email address and password have been entered correctly. Ensure that you have entered no extra spaces before or after your email address. Note that the app is case sensitive, so you will need to enter your email address and password in the correct case (uppercase and/or lowercase).

If your password will not work, tap the ‘Forgot Password’ button to reset your password.

If your attempts are still unsuccessful, please contact Customer Service by emailing club@sunriserecords.com.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

When you open the app, type in your email address. On the following screen, tap ‘Forgot Password?’. When it promps to send a new password to your email address, tap ‘Yes’. You will receive an email with your new temporary password within a few minutes. If you have not received your new password within 12 hours, please contact our Customer Service team by emailing club@sunriserecords.com.

How do I change my profile settings?

Open the Settings section of your app by clicking the four red dots at the top right corner of the screen on your mobile device.

In the Settings section, you can update your name, email address, preferred pronoun, birthday, phone number, and postal code.

You can also contact our Customer Service team to request assistance with updating your preferences: club@sunriserecords.com.

How do I update my marketing preferences?

If you choose to no longer receive push notifications from the app, you will need to update the app notification settings on your device.

If you choose to no longer receive e-mail communications from Sunrise Records, you may unsubscribe at any time via the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.

How do I change my location settings?

Open the Settings section of your app by clicking the four red dots at the top right corner of the screen on your mobile device.

In the Settings section, you can adjust your distance settings to display in either kilometres or miles. You can also adjust your ‘Around Me Distance’ settings to 50, 100, or 200; this changes the radius surrouding your location within which Sunrise Records stores will be displayed.

Will you share my personal data?

We will not share your personal data. Please read our Privacy Policy located at www.sunriserecords.com/privacy-policy to learn more. Contact our Customer Service team to investigate the issue by emailing club@sunriserecords.com.

Can anyone join Club Sunrise?

Anyone can join Club Sunrise, but stamps can only be earned in-store at our stores across Canada. Simply download the app on your mobile device to register.
